14 Weeks/4th of July

Emma is now 14 weeks old and she has truly discovered the joy of her hands in her mouth.  She is able to somehow fit her whole hand in her mouth.  She is exploring a lot with her hands, however she hasn't quite figured out that it would be more fun and effective if she actually opened her hands. She's gotten it a few times but she still has some work to do.

She experienced fireworks for the first time, and they didn't really seem to bother her.  We were at Janna and Donny's for a barbeque for the 3rd, and we were able to see some fireworks from close-by.  She didn't seem bothered by the noise, but she didn't seem impressed with them either.  She was a little fussy.  We think her stomach had been upset for 24 hours or so after an explosive diaper all over Dan, and projectile vomiting on him several times.  We had to go to Old Navy and buy both Dan and Emma new outfits.  Mental note: keep a change of clothes for us in the car as well!

Big plans are in the works for this weekend. Possibly Boston for Anthony's birthday, and then back to Laura's for a family gathering for Linda's big birthday!
